![]() ![]() tanks are more difficult to justify one shots on because they're very hard to kill which is understandable reins shatter was another one they removed. ![]() I think sigma and hog one shots were just pretty easy to remove. These heroes kinda need to have a one shot for their weapons to make any sense, otherwise they'd need to make a completely different hero Hanzo is definitely more doable but still pretty hard without making his bow a machine gun, and that wouldnt make sense. Widows identity is her one shot so it's basically impossible to remove the one shot entirely without just making a new hero. I agree I just think they don't really know how to change widow and Hanzo or maybe if they even want to. Mechanics to heavily reduce frustration in dealing with the SniperĮither one of those works, but they need one of those. What all of those have in common is either/both: In TF2, if a Sniper gets rushed at close range, they are are almost 100% certain to be dead.In Halo Snipers have a very obvious "scope glint", a slow zoom-in, and taking literally any damage de-scopes them. And it only shows up in RNG care packages late-game. The Kraber basically can't oneshot in Apex, as of about 10 months ago.90% of the guns in CounterStrike can deal with an AWP user, aside from them being so expensive that it'd be bizarre to use them on a very frequent basis. Here's how other games deal with lowering frustration with Snipers: And I'm okay with the "for the greater good" of making the game less frustrating so it gets more players.īut then they basically ignore the largest offenders in that regard. I'm a Hog main, I suggested a similar nerf to what he got. But it's so utterly bizarre that they seem fine with the idea that Widow/Hanzo are in the top 5 most picked DPS, and devs have done nothing to mitigate the frustration with how much oneshot spam they do, or mechanics to reduce their their pickrate or lower their frustration levels. Yes 190 is good but that's enough time to get characters to fade deflect get healed start moving again so you miss etc, anybody else feels that way? Without it I feel like it'll turn Sigma into his old poking self instead of his current hybrid poke brawl self, which will be tough for him since most of the tanks are hybrid brawl dive right now. Like getting one shotted by Sig rock never felt as oppressive cause it does take a lot of effort to execute on decent targets and is on a 10 second cooldown. Sig's rock is on a 10 second cooldown, surprisingly easy to miss thanks to the arc distance and wind up, takes a while to fire, and the trejectory of the enemy knockback can and does mess up with the follow up primary fire. ![]() Sigma has always been strong no doubt about that, but outside of the Widow maps I don't think he was ever overly oppressive? Unlike Genji who low elo players did complain about him, everybody praised Sigma for being the most balanced tank in the game.Ĭomparing rock to hook is a bit weird as a justification, Hook is almost instant and only required hog to hit it, it's also launched straight and on a low cooldown. ![]()
